Google often shows this domain next to a residential campus in Karjat. They are different organisations. Here is how to tell them apart, then what to do on this site.

If you typed “University of AI India” into Google, you may have landed here expecting a campus, a prospectus, or a UGC-recognised degree. That search also surfaces Universal AI University, a residential school in Karjat, Maharashtra, which publishes at universalai.in. The two names sit one letter and one domain apart. They are not the same organisation.
This page is the record we want a searcher — and a crawler — to read first. The short line we put on the homepage is still true: a free editorial guide; not a UGC university; not Universal AI University, Karjat.
This site is an independent web guide to AI at work in India. The useful doors are practical: an editorial job-risk checker, an original Foundation course you can finish in an evening, and outbound enrol links to government-backed or industry programmes (YUVA AI for All, Jio AI Classroom, FutureSkills Prime, NPTEL). News on the site is pulled from public RSS feeds and shown with a source. We do not print a degree, a diploma, or a credit hour.
The brand “University of AI India” is a nickname for that guide. It is not a claim of campus, faculty, or statutory recognition. If you need a named editor, the byline is the organisational editorial desk — we do not invent a professor roster to look more official.
In India, “university” is not a marketing word you get to keep because the domain sounds academic. The University Grants Commission maintains lists of central, state, deemed-to-be, and private universities. UGC’s own homepage tells students to verify an institution on those HEI lists before taking admission.
universityofai.co.in is not on those lists. We do not apply to be on them. We do not take tuition for a programme that ends in a university degree. If a page here mentions YUVA or NPTEL, the certificate — if any — is issued by that programme on its own site, not by us.
We also do not certify whether any other named campus is or is not on today’s UGC list. That check belongs on ugc.gov.in, on the date you care about.
Universal AI University publishes at universalai.in. On that site they describe a 40-acre residential campus in Karjat, near Mumbai, and call themselves India’s first AI university. They advertise programmes, applications, and campus life. That is their claim and their URL.
We are not that campus. We do not share their admissions office, their faculty, their hostel, or their placement brochure. If you want to apply there, open universalai.in. If you want a free, phone-first path for using a chat app at work in India without pretending it is a degree, stay here.
Look at the host. This guide is only universityofai.co.in (and the www host, which redirects here). The Karjat campus is universalai.in. A Google title that says “university” is not enough.
Look for an “Apply now” to a residential programme versus a “Start Foundation” or “Check job risk” button. We send you to official enrol pages when you want someone else’s certificate. We do not sell a seat in Karjat.
If money, admission, or a degree is at stake, ignore both our nickname and their slogan until you have opened the UGC HEI lists and the organisation’s own .in site.
